5 Year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma

Gain clinical experience and learn from Classically trained doctors in China! Spend half of your fifth year learning in a hospital setting and studying with clinical experts. This is an extension of our 4 Year Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The focus of the fifth year of study is to deepen the understanding of Chinese herbal therapies, Acupuncture and western medical methods. In addition to the above focus, students will learn modern clinical research methods, advanced TCM modalities, TCM approach to psychology and greater exploration of Classical TCM texts. During the clinical internship component of this fifth year of study students will further solidify their style of treatment in preparation for their future career as doctors of TCM.

4 Year Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Tuition & fees: 
$9000 per academic year for Canadian Students (incl. airfare) $10,000 per academic year for Int. Students (incl. airfare)
Post diploma program: 
The fifth year of study at CCAOM is recognized by Anhui University of TCM as the first year of their 3 year Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Clinic externship: 
Students are permitted to do up to 20% of their total five year clinical requirements at a recognized clinic or hospital of TCM.

Fees

The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine offers the option of completing the programs of study on a full time or part time basis.
