TCM Doctor Joins our Faculty
CCAOM is honoured to announce that Dr. Jing Zhang has recently joined our already exceptional group of instructors.
Dr. Jing Zhang - Ph.D. (China), Instructor, Clinical Supervisor, R.Ac.
Dr. Zhang completed all of her academic and clinical training at the classicaly oriented Chengdu University of TCM in Sichuan Province, China.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree (specializing in acupuncture and moxibustion), a Master of Medicine degree (specializing in integrating TCM and modern medicine) and a Ph.D. in Internal Medicine of TCM.
Dr. Zhang has extensive experience in teaching, research and clinical practice in the field of Internal Medicine, Gerontology and Rehabilitation as well as the Integration of TCM and Western Medicine. From 1999 until 2008 she worked as a TCM doctor, acupuncturist and teacher at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM.
Dr. Zhang is a clinical supervisor and instructor at the Canadian College and treats patients out of the Tao Wellness Centre in the Saanich Plaza, Victoria.
