Western Pharmacology

This course provides students with a foundation for understanding common pharmaceuticals. This will include their physiological functions, recommended dosages, common side effects and trade and generic names. Interactions of pharmaceuticals with some herbs will be addressed. Effective communication with other health care practitioners will be a topic for discussion in this course.
