This course offers an in-depth study of the diagnostic parameters, syndrome differentiations, and herbal treatment principles according to the theoretical models presented in TCM: Foundations. Included in this course will be the presentation of internal disease syndromes, their treatment using herbal formulae and their relation to various physiological systems including respiration, blood and circulation, digestion, urination, immune, endocrine and neurological. The emphasis in this course is on syndrome differentiation and treatment planning to assist students in identifying symptoms, accompanying symptoms, and tongue and pulse indicators.
