Advanced Clinical Internship / Residency
This is the final phase of clinical hours before a student graduates and enters into the professional realm. Student interns at this level will be fine tuning their skills in: compiling patient intakes; diagnosing TCM conditions; creating treatment plans; performing needle insertions; point stimulations; Tui Na; prescribing herbal formulae; managing accidents; etc. It is at this level that the student intern will develop their own style which they carry with them into their professional practice.
Students may also choose to go to China to study in TCM university affiliated hospitals for their practicum. The Canadian College currently has agreements with both Anhui College of Chinese Medicine, Hefei and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cheng Du.
