CCAOM

This course covers instruction in needling technique, methods of point selection, moxibustion, cupping, and special protocols such as plum blossom and three edged needles. This course will also introduce students to distinct subsystems within the larger system of acupuncture. Topics to be introduced will include scalp, ear, eye, nose, hand, and foot acupuncture with an emphasis on the appropriate selection and practical application of skills being taught. Personal and clinical hygiene, safety, first aid, and accident management are also presented. This course places a strong emphasis on hands-on practice of techniques learned.
